Victor H. Hexter is a DISD elementary school established in the White Rock Lake Community in 1954. We are proud to be named a Texas Mentor School by the Texas Education Association. The TEA has also ranked Hexter as a Recognized School for several years. Boundary changes made by DISD over the last two years have once again returned Hexter to a neighborhood school, boasting a large community of children - kids from over 20 countries attend Hexter. In addition to our general curriculum we have enrichment programs including a science lab, a fully equipped computer technology lab, music and visual arts. The arts programs at Hexter are supported by the Hexter PTA and funded largely by the monies raised through the White Rock Art Festival. Hexter boasts a talented and dedicated group of teachers, administrators and parents.
