Welcome!

The 2005 White Rock Art Festival would like to welcome the artists and gift merchants of the Greater Dallas area and beyond. Our mission is to fund the Hexter Elementary Fine Arts program, but another key goal of the Festival is to create a significant art event for East Dallas. Our past Art Markets have been wonderfully successful for both Hexter and the art community - over 1700 patrons attended the 2004 Market and most artists had a very successful show.

Media coverage for last year's event included listings in GuideLive, the Dallas Morning News and the Dallas Observer. In addition, the Lakewood / East Dallas Advocate magazine ran a spotlight article on our Festival in their November issue. Thousands more saw our large full color banners on N. Buckner Blvd, Peavy and Northcliff, not to mention the hundreds of yard signs, flyers and posters throughout East Dallas. This year we plan to have even more publicity.

Booth Information

The Festival will be held indoors at Hexter Elementary. Each booth will measure 6' by 10', and double booths are available. Chairs and electricity are included with each booth rental. The fee schedule is as follows:

Single Booth

Participation Requirements

Event fees and one or more photos of your merchandise are required with your application. Vendor selection is made by a jury to ensure a variety of merchandise. Each entry will be reviewed and notification letters will be sent out in early September. Late applicants will also be juried and may need to be placed on a waiting list. Entry fee checks will be held until after jurying, and if your application is not accepted your check will be returned at that time. All vendors are required to donate an item or gift certificate (with a suggested value of $50) to the Art Festival for use in the Silent Auction. Please note that your space will not be confirmed without a donation.
